AND ALL THINGS NICE
They didn’t need honesty, loyalty or men – and then the world ended.
Claire, Laura and Sheila survived the post-oil collapse of the world. Most didn’t. Before that, they climbed the corporate ladder, enjoyed success and all its spoils. Sheila mentored Laura, who mentored Claire. To be honest, Claire was a bit disappointing.
All three are barely surviving, scavenging from what remains of the city. Claire is dreaming for rescue by the Government, the Army, anyone who’ll put things back together again, return them to their protected, privileged lives. Then they discover somewhere they can escape to, not only to just survive, but make a real future.
To journey through the de-regulated, post-collapse landscape will require teamwork from them. And, much harder than that, to attain what they never needed before, true friendship and loyalty.
